It takes a special person

...............to work in the towing industry!

I wanted to take a moment this morning to
recognize all tow truck driver's who come to our rescue.

Whether you have a flat tire, run out of gas, lock your keys in your vehicle,
get yourself stuck in the mud or you're involved in an auto accident.

Some years ago I was on a four lane highway in my brand new car.
I was returning from the local airport that was about an hour from my home.

In the dark of night I lost all electrical power inside the car, I had head beams
but nothing else.  Of course I was in a state of panic.

What to do?  I called AAA!

I pulled off to the shoulder of the road and that in itself was terrifying (well
to me it was).

I'll never forget how patient, kind and calm the truck driver was - which
immediately put me into a state of calmness.  He explained that it
was more than likely a blown fuse, no big deal and for me to bring the
vehicle to the dealer in the morning.

Seeing that I was a single woman traveling alone with my young son,
the tow truck driver offered for me to follow him until I reached my exit,
just a few miles up the road. Once off the highway I was able to navigate
on my own.

Yes, it takes a special person to be a tow truck driver.
