AAA brings our seniors some helpful tools to evaluate their driving ability.
My Mom, who is 86 is still able to drive with limitations - thankfully she knows her limitations. She drives only during daylight hours and only if she's driving to a familiar place; food store, Church, family homes and doctor appointments.
My Dad, who is 90, well he had to stop driving quite sometime ago due to eyesight problems. He was resistant at first but after a few fender benders he realized that he was putting himself and other's in danger. Our family had to step in and convince him as well.
